Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have paraded more than 200 COVID-19 violators on Saturday.
It was gathered that the offenders were arrested during a raid on some clubs which include Lounge 38, Club Victoria, among others,on Friday.
The Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, disclosed that the suspects will be arraigned promptly.
Odumosu lamented many Lagosians were ignoring procedures announced to curtail the spread of coronavirus. The disposition which would have adverse effects on the state’s health condition.
He,however,regurgitated the command’s dedication to implement COVID-19 rules and the Federal Government’s 12 midnight to 4 am curfew.
The CP warned club proprietors to stop defying government’s mandates, stating they risk litigation and expropriation of their investment.
