Duo groups of bandits clash has resulted to one of the gangs kingpin injured in Katsina.
It was learnt that the injured bandit chief or Dan Karami in local parlance is one of the masterminds of the Kankara School boys abduction.
According to the source, Dan Karami and his armed group are notorious for cattle rustling, kidnapping and anxiety in communities particularly around Safana, Danmusa and parts of Batsari Local Government Areas of Katsina State.
The bandit chief,who was said to have stayed remorseless and ignored various overtures to embrace peace, reportedly sustained severe injuries during clash between armed men being owned by to Mani Na Saleh Mai Dan Doki and his gang at Illela village of Safana Local Government Area of Katsina.
At least 20 members of Dan Karami group were slain by the rival camp as they battled over the custody of some costly guns and ammunition as well as rustled cattle.
However, Police confirmed the incident, vowing to furnish more details after a comprehensive scrutiny.
