Hoodlums have stabbed two men around 3pm on Saturday, inciting panic at the popular Igbudu Market, in Warri, Delta State.
It was gathered that one of the victims is, Ufuoma Kelly, an elder brother to the late chief priest of Igbudu community in Warri South council area of Delta State,Victor Alero, who was stabbed to death last October for impregnating a Muslim lady.
According to the source, it was vague what led to the revived attack, but the community source claimed it was unprovoked.
Kelly and a colleague, identified simply as Okpako, were reportedly jabbed in the back as they sold trading tickets in the market.
However, the Police spokesperson DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the assault, but cited that the community declined to give up information on who was wounded or who caused the injury.
